Ashley distributors has manufactured an improved Oz Clip™ that has the same functionality but is made of steel which has the benefit of being lighter in weight and is less expensive. The Steel Hanger Clip and Steel Holder Clip is a multi-purpose hanging and storage fitting, designed as a permanent attachment to framed artworks. It eliminates the need for expensive and labor-intensive fittings each time a painting is moved and holds the painting in the most secure way while hanging or traveling. This hanging system consists of two types of clips: the hanger clip, with stainless loop for attachment to hanging wire and the holder clip, without loop for permanent attachment, but used in transportation only. They are compatible with existing hanging techniques and can be used with most traveling and storage frames and cases.
